Professionals, Experienced In Go-To Gas Station Cleaning

Gas station cleaning

Gas station cleaning is an important part of keeping your Columbus business looking good. Customers notice the way your property looks, and it can even influence their buying decisions once they come into the store. A business never gets a second chance to make a first impression. Property owners who pay attention to the outside appearance of the station do better than those that think it's just not that important. That's why at Good As New Pressure Washing, your building becomes our building, and we take pride in what we do.

Concrete Cleaning

Appearance and safety are the two biggest reasons to keep the concrete at your gas station clean. Clean concrete makes your property look fresh. In fact, dirty concrete can actually be dangerous. Oil stains and other fluid leaks can buildup and get very slippery. Insurance claims can result from someone slipping on the dirty concrete around the pumps, or the sidewalks leading into the store. Black mold and algae can get really slick when the concrete gets wet. Regular cleaning prevents the buildup that can lead to slips and falls. Cleaning helps protect you and your gas station from frivolous lawsuits.

Gas Station Cleaning - Canopy

The "black stains" on your canopy are actually organic growth, and are an important part of the focus for gas station cleaning. Because the sun never hits the underside of the canopy, it will get darker over time. It requires a special process to safely remove the mold that builds up. Cleaning not only makes your canopy look better, it improves the light reflection on the pumps below. Leaving the mold can reduce the life expectancy of the canopy and cost you money to replace it or repaint it. Exhaust from vehicles can also darken the underside of the canopy.

Gas Station Cleaning - Building

Soft washing is a cleaning method using low pressure and specialized solutions to safely remove mildew, bacteria, algae, and other organic stains from building exteriors. It is completely different than power washing. Soft washing uses a special sprayer to apply a water-based, biodegradable disinfectant cleaning solution to kill the mold, mildew, bacteria, algae, fungus, moss, and more on exterior building surfaces.

Soft washing equipment is also distinctly different from power and pressure washing equipment. Pumps apply the cleaning solution at low pressure - typically only 40-80 PSI. The equipment used for soft washing may also have telescoping handles so that the cleaning solution can easily reach upper level surfaces, and other such areas, without the need for more pressure.
