Sanitizing - What Is It, and Why Is It Important?

Sanitizing

What is sanitizing, and is it something I should consider for my home? According to the Oxford dictionary, Sanitizing means "make clean and hygienic; disinfect." So it would seem that the answer is yes, but will it really help you with the current issue we face - COVID-19, aka Coronavirus?

At Good As New Pressure Washing, we use chemicals that are on the EPAs list of approved chemicals that can deal with COVID-19. Now, does that mean that your surfaces are guaranteed to be Coronavirus-free? Only until someone else comes in contact with the surface. We can't control what happens after we leave, but we can deal with surfaces while we're there.

Our Sanitization Process Is Simple

We follow a time-tested strategy for our sanitization services.

  • We clean the surfaces so it's free from dirt, grime, and any other organic contaminants. It's only after that point that we can get to the surfaces where the virus lives.
  • We apply our chemicals and let them dwell (sit on the surface) long enough to kill what's there.
  • We rinse thoroughly. That's it. Clean as a whistle.

What is this good for? Cleaning the common, high-touch surfaces on the outside of your house or business. That's right, we can help businesses get ready to open back up by cleaning where people gather. Benches in outdoor waiting areas. Park benches in city parks. Playground equipment at churches, schools, and parks. Stadium seating. ANYWHERE that people hang out.

Good As New Pressure Washing is your one-stop-shop for all your exterior cleaning needs, whether it's concrete cleaning, roof washing, sanitization, and much more. Give us a try, you won't be sorry you did!

To schedule your sanitization service, please call our pressure washing company at 706-604-6585.

About Our Soft Washing Methods

One of the services that we often utilize in conjunction with our sanitization package is soft washing. Unlike traditional pressure washing, which involves high-powered water being blasted at surfaces to remove gunk and grime, soft washing instead goes the more sensitive route. We'll actually turn down the pressure on our equipment and introduce special soaps and detergents into the mix. This allows us to gently yet thoroughly clean areas around your home or commercial property without you having to worry about us damaging the surfaces underneath.

Are you ready to take advantage of our sanitization, soft washing, or other pressure washing services? Don't hesitate. The longer you wait, the more time germs have to accumulate on the surfaces around your property. Contact us today and get in touch with a helpful associate who will assist you with getting set up for your appointment.

We look forward to hearing from you.
